Tony Raymond has been working as a mural painter for over 30 years. He studied at Hornsey College of Art where one of his tutors was artist & author Barbara Jones. Barbara became a mentor and he subsequently worked as her assistant. His passion for Art History & The Decorative Arts of the 17th & 18th Centuries has its roots in his childhood and has since appealed strongly to both designers and clients alike

Over the years Tony has been commissioned to work in houses, hotels, restaurants & several palaces. Amongst other places he has worked in the U.K, Ireland, France, Denmark, Istanbul, California, Texas, Chicago, Barbados, St.Lucia, Malaysia, Brunei and Abhu Dhabi. His favourite subjects include lavish Italian & Exotic landscapes, Gardens, Soft Venetian Skies, Trompe l'oeil Architecture, Fabrics, Trompe Objects and Animals, especially dressed up monkeys. Tony can also create more abstract decorative schemes in a simple but elegant manner. A selection of Tony's work can be viewed in the gallery page.

Tony Raymond lives in London. His studio is in Hampstead.
